Single-chamber legislature of 128 deputies elected for four years by proportional representation in 15 districts, with seats split equally between Christians and Muslims (Constitution Arts. 16 to 47; Law 44/2017). Elects the President of the Republic, gives and withdraws confidence to the government, and elects the Speaker and Deputy Speaker.
